During the period from July 2023 to February 2024, 6C Wu Yiu Tsz has participated in a project titled ” Quantum Quest: Practical Experience for Gifted Students” organized by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Department of Physics) and The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted. Under the guidance provided HKUST, he has conducted a research project with other gifted students about “Solving combinatorial optimization using QAOA”. On February 3rd, Wu Yiu Tsz and his team presented their work.
His remarkable efforts and expertise in the field of quantum computation caught the attention of prominent media outlets. As a result, he was interviewed by both Cable and TVB.
