A group of geography club members participated in a guided tour organized by the Association for Geoconservation, Hong Kong. In a joyful and entertaining atmosphere, they learned about different types of rocks, their relevance to daily life, and the rise and fall of the stone mining industry in Lei Yue Mun over the years. Finally, the students transformed into rock cleaning volunteers, actively cleaning graffiti from the rocks. During the sharing session, all the students expressed that they gained a lot from this activity and understood the importance of taking personal responsibility in actively conserving nature.
