San Po Kong Micro-climate Study

On October 4, our S5 Geography students had the opportunity to venture outside the classroom to explore the neighboring district of San Po Kong. This enriching field trip was a collaborative effort between the Ho Koon Nature Education cum Astronomical Centre and the Geography Department of Ho Lap College. Students were divided into groups to gather data at various sites around the area, focusing on the study of the local microclimate. Following the data collection, they learned how to utilize their findings to present data and test their hypotheses. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the dedicated teachers from the Ho Koon Centre for their guidance and engagement with our students regarding their fieldwork findings. Your support contributed significantly to making this experience truly memorable. We look forward to more outdoor learning opportunities in the future!
