Additionally, ICT is integrated with other subjects such as mathematics, science, and humanities, fostering interdisciplinary connections and enhancing the relevance of technology in diverse areas of study. - Ethical & Responsible Use
Students learn about data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and digital citizenship, while also being encouraged to develop an awareness of ICT’s broader impact on society and the environment, fostering responsible and informed use of technology in both personal and professional contexts. - Assessment Variety
Continuous assessment is carried out through assignments, projects, and presentations, while formal assessment takes place via the HKDSE ICT exam Papers 1 and 2, which cover both compulsory and elective parts such as programming and database. In addition, HKDSE ICT Paper 3 serves as the school-based assessment, requiring students to complete project-based tasks that demonstrate the practical application of ICT knowledge, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving, creativity, and authentic work.
