Our Chinese culture education is grounded in the core philosophy of “harmonious integration of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism”.
We embed traditional culture into students’ daily lives through modernised classics, cross‑disciplinary thinking and whole‑person experiential learning.
School Ethos and Values
As a Sik Sik Yuen–sponsored school, Ho Lap College integrates key ideas from Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism into cultural education and character formation.
Chinese Culture Day
We organise whole‑school “Chinese Culture Day”, featuring tea ceremony, Chinese calligraphy, paper‑cutting, traditional costume (hanfu) experience and cultural game stalls for hands‑on learning.
Study Tours and Heritage Visits
We arrange local, Mainland and overseas study tours to historic cities and cultural landmarks so that students can visit heritage sites in person and strengthen their sense of cultural identity.
Arts and Aesthetic Education
We provide rich arts experiences, including traditional Chinese opera and other cultural performances, to deepen students’ understanding of Chinese aesthetics and artistic expression.
