Curriculum Goals

The History curriculum is designed to develop students’ understanding of significant historical developments in Hong Kong, China, and the wider world.

It aims to cultivate students’ ability to think critically and analytically about the past, appreciate the complexity of historical interpretation, and understand the interconnections between people, events, and ideas across time.

Through historical inquiry, students develop a sense of identity, national pride, global awareness, and respect for cultural diversity. The curriculum further seeks to nurture informed, responsible, and reflective citizens who apply historical perspectives to contemporary issues.
