Form 5 students recently visited the medical centre run by our alumnus, Dr. Cheung Ching Ping, to gain a deeper understanding of mental health services and the psychiatric profession.
During the visit, Dr. Cheung explained the clinic’s operations, common psychiatric disorders, and their treatment methods, while also sharing professional insights from her clinical experience.
In addition, the centre arranged for a clinical psychologist and a specialist in magnetic brain stimulation therapy to introduce their respective fields and the latest treatment technologies. This allowed students to appreciate the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in mental health care.
The activity broadened the students’ horizons and deepened their understanding of the mental health profession and its vital role in society, making the visit a truly rewarding experience.
