Our students had the opportunity to visit the Sports Science and Physical Education department at CUHK. During the visit, they explored the newly established fitness center and the physiology lab. The students engaged in practical exercises, utilizing various research methods to assess different fitness components, with particular emphasis on the VO2max treadmill test. This hands-on experience enriched their understanding of the DSE Physical Education curriculum by allowing them to apply theoretical concepts in a real-world setting. By observing and participating in advanced fitness assessments, students gained deeper insights into exercise physiology, enhancing their analytical skills and fostering a greater appreciation for evidence-based practices in sports science.
