S4 Life-wide Learning Day: Innovation Camp in Action
On 13 March 2026, our S4 students joined the JA Innovation Camp and Tech for Impact Challenge as part of our Life-wide Learning Day.
Under the theme of Circular Economy, Responsible Consumption and the SDGs, students explored how technology can tackle real sustainability challenges. Their innovative ideas covered a wide range of areas, including solutions to farming constraints through technology, virtual fitting platforms to reduce fashion waste, and digital systems to facilitate the trading and recycling of scrap metals in urban communities. These proposals demonstrated students’ ability to apply technological thinking beyond traditional recycling concepts and consider broader economic and social impact.
Throughout the workshop, teams collaborated closely with experienced volunteer facilitators from the business sector. With practical feedback and industry perspectives, students refined their ideas and considered how their solutions could work in the real world.
It was a day driven by collaboration and bold thinking, setting the stage for students to keep innovating and turning ideas into action.
