Sik Sik Yuen Flag Guard Attends Hong Kong Police College Passing-out and Community Parade
To broaden students’ horizons and foster their sense of discipline and national identity, a delegation of 45 students from our school’s “Sik Sik Yuen Flag Guard” recently attended the grand Passing-out and Community Parade at the Hong Kong Police College.
During the event, the Flag Guard members had the privilege of witnessing the passing-out officers’ impeccable Chinese-style foot drill, the solemn flag-raising ceremony, and various impressive parade performances. The high level of discipline, strong morale, and professionalism demonstrated by the police officers deeply inspired our students.
This invaluable experiential learning opportunity not only deepened students’ understanding of the Police Force’s dedication to upholding the rule of law and safeguarding national security, but also served as an excellent role model for our Flag Guard members. We hope our students will take this experience to heart, integrating this spirit of strict discipline and perseverance into their daily flag-raising and foot drill training, thereby further enhancing their teamwork and patriotic sentiments.
